Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, was born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Reared in the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay directed her ingenious literary talents and remarkable abilities in research to create an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled No Man knows My History. This title is derived from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked his listeners by declaring: You don't know me I never told you about my heart. My story is not known to anyone. Nobody knows my story. The task is fascinating and educational. FawnBrodie took on this professional task with enthusiasm and energy. Thaddeus Steves was a world famous person due to the research she conducted and her writing. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge of the South The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. An intimate History (1974) as well as posthumously Richard Nixon.
